Steps to Salvation
1. Acknowledge—you’re a sinner and need Jesus
2. Repent—asking God for his forgiveness
3. Believe—Jesus died on the cross for your sins
4. Receive—invite Jesus to come into your heart and life
5. Confess—that Jesus is your Lord and He brings salvation

Vision and Values of Cork Community Church
  • To express our love for God through passionate times of worship with the creative arts, including song, dance, painting and poetry.  (2 Sam. 6:22)
  • To embrace the roots of Celtic Christianity and its different styles of worship so that we may build upon the inheritance left by our ancestors.  (Jer. 6:16)
  • To further ground ourselves in the Word of God that we may walk in His purpose for us and in a full assurance of our faith. (Heb. 4:12, 1 Pet. 1:25)
  • To be instruments of prayer and intercession who are in touch with God’s heartbeat and available to pray into His will for individuals, the Church, the city and nations.  (Phil. 4:6)
  • To pray for the peace of Israel, as it is an honour to pray for God’s chosen people and out of the knowledge that God will bless those who bless her.  (Num. 24:9b)
  • To receive a vision and grace for evangelism that will empower a heart longing to see the prodigals come back to the Father’s house.  (Mt. 28:19)
  • To have our ears open to what the Spirit is saying and to be attentive to His prophecies for us today.  (Rev. 2:29, 1 Cor. 14:1, 1 Tim. 1:18-19)
  • To embrace the servant hood that Jesus embodied and encouraged: preferring others before ourselves and using our gifts to bless others in whatever way possible.  (Matt. 20:28)
  • To walk in a spirit of generosity.  To give freely to God and to others as He has freely given to us; to sow into the kingdom of God with our time, energy and finances.  (Luke 6:38)
  • To fulfill our calling to be a ‘Bethlehem’ or a ‘House of Bread’, an outlet for the living water and a provider of Bread of Life to a lost and broken city.  (John 7:38, Deut. 8:3, 2 Cor. 3:17)

OUR MISSION

..to worship God
To have a place where Jesus is vibrantly worshipped in full expression of spirit and truth.  These are the worshippers that the Father seeks.
(John 4:23)

...to love one another
A community of people gathered together who love God and their neighbors passionately and honestly.  This is the great commandment.
(Matthew 22:36-40)

...to go to the nations
To see the life and truth of Jesus expressed
through diversity of gifting and styles,
impacting our city and beyond with the gospel.  The great commission.  (Mark 16:15-18)
